About Future Proof

Future Proof is for the EAs, PAs and support professionals who know they’re capable of more than “just admin” – and want a calm, grown-up way to step into that.

I’m Claire. By day I’m Head of Delivery for a large charity; before that I spent years as a Programme Manager and Executive Assistant. My whole job has been sitting between strategy and reality – taking big ambitions and quietly turning them into plans, meetings, decisions and follow-through.

When AI arrived, I watched the conversation about assistants swing between doom (“you’ll be replaced”) and hype (“AI will do it all for you”). Neither matched what I was seeing in real organisations, or how careful EAs actually think about risk, reputation and people.

Future Proof is my answer to that gap: a place where support professionals can get sensible, EA-specific help to move from doing the tasks… to designing the workflows.

Why I built this

Future Proof exists because:

EAs and PAs are being talked about in AI conversations, but rarely talked to.
Most AI training is built for tech enthusiasts, not for people who are already carrying an exec’s diary, stakeholders and reputation.
There are almost no spaces that treat assistants as strategic partners who need guardrails, language and career thinking – not just “50 prompts to copy and paste”.

I wanted somewhere that said: you are not behind, you are not overreacting, and you absolutely get to shape what your role looks like next.
